Papua New Guinea - HOAC - Okapa Valley
This little gem from Papua New Guinea really is worth trying. It comes from a group of smallholders not having more than around a 3-hectare plot each, in the Okapa valley. The picked coffee is pulped then dry fermented for 24 hours and develops a unique flavour in the process.
The result is a rich brew with blackcurrant notes. If you brew for longer or run your espresso for longer than 25 seconds then you'll start to get a hint of spice on the finish. Delicious either way!
